Attorney Antoinette M. Wooten is a member of the New Jersey bar as well as the US District Courts in the Southern and Eastern Districts in New York, and all the US District Courts in New Jersey.
Miss Wooten has an extensive background in litigation in both state and federal courts. Miss Wooten served as a student law clerk for two NYS Supreme Court Justices and interned at the US Attorneys Office for the Eastern District while attending Brooklyn Law School.
Miss Wooten worked as a state prosecutor; a private criminal defense attorney; and a public defender. Miss Wooten has experience providing clients with advice regarding civil rights violations, such as violations of the fair housing act, discrimination based on race, age, gender, and national origin.
Miss Wooten also has extensive experience in Family Law matters such as custody, visitation, garnishee orders, support, divorce, alimony, separation agreements, prenuptial agreements, paternity, property settlements, and parental termination.
Miss Wooten has represented and advised clients with regard to employment contracts; and unfair labor practices. Miss Wooten is an executive member of the National Coalition of Concerned Legal Professionals, a member of the Women’s Ecommerce Business, and the Women’s Chamber of Commerce.
Miss Wooten has been selected to receive the 2008 Congressional Medal of Distinction by Congressman Tom Cole.
